Rupert Lowe is the independent Member of Parliament for Great Yarmouth, he was sworn into the House of Commons on 9 July 2024 following his election win. His maiden speech on 9 September 2024 highlighted local issues and his commitment to community needs.

Rupert has a strong business background, having served as Chairman of Southampton Football Club from 1996 to 2006 and briefly in 2008-2009, steering the club through key moments. He also brings extensive experience in finance, property, and investment, having founded and led successful ventures in insurance and real estate with sharp strategic vision.

His political career began in 1997 when he stood as a candidate for Parliament in The Cotswolds. From 2019 to 2020, he served as a Member of the European Parliament until the UK’s EU exit. In 2024, he ran in the Kingswood by-election a few months before winning the Great Yarmouth seat in the general election. In June 2025, Rupert founded Restore Britain, a political movement he currently leads.

With a wealth of leadership experience, Rupert is committed to representing Great Yarmouth with an independent perspective in Parliament.
