Following the damage caused by Storm Darragh, Hemsby lifeboat was left temporarily out of service. The storm left the lifeboat unable to launch.
Rupert chose to donate his salary to help return the lifeboat to service. This donation helped repair damage, give access to a secure container for life-saving equipment and support ongoing efforts to maintain safe access to the beach.
